Iain Jackson is Professor of Architecture at the Liverpool School of Architecture. His research looks at twentieth-century architecture in West Africa, South Asia and the Gulf, and at the people, firms and institutions that built it, from Fry and Drew to the United Africa Company and Nek Chand’s Rock Garden. He works through books, exhibitions, drawing and doctoral supervision, and co-directs the AHUWA research centre and the Transnational Architecture Group.
